LASHGARGAH (Pajhwok): Some security officials have been arrested over their alleged involvement in drug trade and other illegally activities in southern Hemand province, the police chief said Monday.
Brig. Gen. Aqa Noor Kintoz told a press conference here that ‘crucial’ reforms had been brought to the police force during the past one year, thus resulting in reduced security gap.
Giving no specific figure, Kintoz said: “We have captured some security officials who had a hand in narcotics trade and other illegal activities and some other officials are under investigation”.
