KABUL’s Resolute Support Mission has announced deploying about 200 troops to western Farah province in support of Afghan security forces.
“At the request of the Farah governor, Gen. John Nicholson has authorised approximately 200 coalition members to support Afghan National Defense and Security Forces.”
In a statement, the NATO mission said the troops, mainly Italian, would conduct their train, advise and assist mission for approximately one week on location.
