KABUL (TEFA) on Wednesday said the government was not giving priority to holding of the parliamentary and district council elections.
TEFA chief Mohammad Naeem Ayubzada told a press conference here that TEFA findings showed some political groups were interfering in the election affairs.
He expressed concern over the absence of financial sources for implementation of election plans, dependence of election commissions on government funding and government’s influence on the electoral bodies. He said government’s behavior proved it was not ready for holding elections.
