CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The Salang Pass, linking Kabul with northern provinces, was reopened for traffic on Thursday morning after two days of closure due to snowstorms, an official said.
There had been 160cm of snow on both sides (northern and southern) of the key pass over the past two days, Salang Maintenance Commander Gen. Abdul Rajab told Pajhwok Afghan News.
