WASHINGTON (Pajhwok): A top US counter-terrorism expert on Wednesday told lawmakers the Afghan aviation, which could play an effective role in the fight against terrorism, was in a shambles.
Bruce Hoffman, director at the Center for Security Studies at the Georgetown University, made the remarks at a time when Al Qaeda is trying to regain its strength in the Af-Pak border region.
