KABUL commander has been killed along with two accomplices in an airstrike, the spy service said on Thursday, without revealing the exact place.
A statement from the National Directorate of Security (NDS) said the airstrike came during joint operations also involving NDS personnel.
A notorious Haqqani network commander Khan Badshah aka Faryadi was killed along with two other militants of the Haqqani group. Faryadi and his assistant known as Saidan were killed in the airstrike.
Faryadi was responsible for many attacks on security forces in Paktia, Khost and Zabul provinces and he headed the dreaded group’s suicide attacks committee, the statement added.
