KABUL (Pajhwok): At least nine people were wounded in a traffic accident in eastern Laghman province on Friday, an official said.
The accident took place on the Kabul-Nangarhar Highway in the limits of Laghman province, the governor’s spokesman said.
Sarhadi Zwak told Pajhwok Afghan News the injured had been evacuated to hospital, but he had no information about their condition.
Accidents on the highway are often blamed on careless driving, speed and a rundown condition of the road.
