KABUL (Pajhwok): A lawmaker from southern Helmand province has been wounded on an attack by unidentified gunmen in neighbouring Kandahar province, local officials said on Saturday.
A security official, wishing anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News the gunmen attacked Malem Mirwali, a Wolesi Jirga member, in the Kart-i-Mualimeen area of Kandahar City in the morning.
