SHARANA (Pajhwok): The attorney’s office in southeastern Paktika province on Wednesday said some government officials were involved in drug trade.
Asadullah Waziri, the provincial attorney’s office head, presenting their annual report during a press conference here, said the attorneys had investigated 395 political and criminal cases during the outgoing solar year.
But there was no case about drugs, showing some local officials were complicit in the illicit business, he said.
