JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A suicide bomber detonated explosives wrapped around his body in front of a mosque in eastern Nangarhar province on Friday, killing at least one person.
The blast took place soon after people started coming out of the mosque in Daronta village of Surkhrod district, Nangarhar Hajj and Islamic Affairs director Abdul Zahir Haqqani told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Haqqani said he was the target but the attacker hugged his brother as soon as he stepped outside the mosque . . .
