SHARANA (Pajhwok): A jirga held two days ago decided to give two minor girls in marriage to settle a dispute over a murder between two families in the Khairkot district of southeastern Paktika province, witnesses said on Saturday.
A member of Khairkot district’s youth council, Azamat Katawaz, told Pajhwok Afghan News the little girls were given in Ba’d two days back over the killing of a woman.
He said a resident of the district had beaten his wife to death. She hailed from Janikhel district . . .
