Legislators Ahmad Behzad, Parvin Durani, Fareshta Anwari and Bashir Ahmad, who failed to attend parliamentary sessions for 20 days, were suspended by the house.
Some days back, Wolesi Jirga members complained a number of their colleagues had long been absent. The Administrative Board later decided to suspend those staying absent for 20 days under Articles 73 and 119 of the internal regulations.
