SHARANA (Pajhwok): The Angoor Ada border crossing between Afghanistan in southeastern Paktika province has been reopened after a protracted closure.
Pakistan in mid-February closed all border crossings with Afghanistan following a string of deadly attacks in the country.
A police official in the Angoor Ada, a buffering town, told Pajhwok Afghan News on the condition of anonymity, that the border crossing was opened for traffic on Friday afternoon. “We also allowed vehicles on this side to move after receiving order from the government.”
