JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Cricket board officials on Wednesday inaugurated construction work on an international cricket playground in Jalalabad, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province.
Afghanistan members, provincial council members, the governor and other officials participated in the inauguration ceremony.
ACB chief Atif Mashal said on the occasion that the stadium was being built in response to people’s extreme interest in cricket.
