KABUL should be converted into an area of cooperation rather than confrontation among different regional countries, his office said on Thursday.
Karzai expressed the view at the Moscow International Security Conference, organised annually by the Russian Federation’s Defence Ministry. Security officials and political figures participated in the event.
“Terrorism and extremism is on the raise in Afghanistan despite the ongoing war against terrorism, spearheaded by the US and its allies,” noted Karzai, who demanded different countries should cooperate on ending the war in his country . . .
