KABUL (Pajhwok): A suicide bomber blew himself up near the US embassy in the in Kabul on Wednesday, killing at least eight people and wounding 25 others, officials said.
Najib Danish, Interior ministry’s deputy spokesman, told reporters at the site the suicide attack targeted a convoy of NATO forces. The attacker detonated his explosives-laden vehicle.
Danish said international forces suffered no causalities in the bombing, but a US military spokesman confirmed at least three soldiers were wounded.
