KABUL (Pajwhok): Interior Minister Taj Mohammad Jahid on Sunday said the Police Act was being amended keeping in view the country’s security situation and nature of crimes.
Addressing a conference “Police Act review” in Kabul, Jahid said the present police law was not responsive to Afghanistan’s technical and technological needs.
Thus it was required to amend the law in accordance with Islamic teachings, Afghan values and international norms.
