SHARAN (Pajhwok): A policeman in southeastern Paktika province, who was recently fired, blames the government for forcing him to beg. He has losr two brothers defending the country.
Sirajuddin, a resident of the Sigani area of Kherkot district, told Pajhwok Afghan News, he said: “My brothers and I joined police ranks a few years ago, when no one was interested in such jobs.”
The 35-year-old said he and his brothers had participated in dozens of battles against militants. The operations were aimed to improve the security situation in the province.
