PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Increasing clashes and other incidents of insecurity on the Pul-i-Khumri-Kunduz and the Pul-i-Khumri-Mazar-i-Sharif highways in northern Baghlan province have worried commuters.
Alauddin Noori, a resident of Baladuri area, told Pajhwok Afghan News that militants had many times staged attacks on Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital, over the past few months.
“Most of the residents have fled with a pair of clothes and shoes and left everything behind at their homes,” he said.
