KABUL (Pajhwok): Police seized more than 6,000 kilograms of ammonium nitrate from a truck in eastern Nangarhar province, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said on Monday.
A MoI statement received by Pajhwok Afghan News) said in total 6,250 kg of the banned chemical fertilizer, allegedly used in making bombs, was unloaded from a truck at a check-point in Marko road area of Ghani Khel district.
The driver has been arrested and is being questioned, the statement said . . .
