BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): Six airport security officials have been arrested after supporters of a lawmaker did not allow a passenger plane to land at the airport in central Bamyan province.
The KamAir flight with 30 passengers onboard was forced to return back to Kabul after supporters of the lawmaker placed stones on the runaway.
The commander of the first police district of Bamyan City and six border police officers have been arrested for interrogation, Bamyan governor Mohammad Tahir Zuhair told Pajhwok Afghan News.
