JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two civilians and three militants have been killed in Afghan Special Forces operation in the Ghanikhel district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Wednesday.
District chief Abdul Wahab told Pajhwok Afghan News Special Forces Unit 02 raided a house in the Golae area of the district.
He said commander Hamza was killed along with his two colleagues during the clash.
An unnamed source said two civilians were also killed during the raid which the district chief dubbed them as suspected militants and could not be confirmed as innocent civilians . . .
