JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Four Pakistani militants were arrested on Sunday before they could join Daesh militant group in eastern Nangarhar province, officials said.
Nangarhar governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News the Pakistani suspects were arrested at around 4am in the morning in Kochiano Kala area of Rodat district.
He said the four wanted to swell Daesh ranks; however they were arrested along with two Afghan friends by security forces.
Khogyani didn’t go into details, but said the detainees were currently under investigation.
