Teenage suicide bomber captured near Bagram base

KABUL (Pajhwok): A would-be suicide attacker was detained by security forces in the Bagram district of central Parwan province on Tuesday, an official said.

Col. Abdul Samad Zalmay, crime branch chief, said the suspected individual was arrested near Bagram airport in the morning. The detainee planned to conduct suicide attack on foreign forces, he claimed.

Two suicide vests and two grenades were seized from the detainee, a 16 year-old resident of Laghman province, the official said.
