MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A son of the Kam Air’s owner has been killed mysteriously during a family hunting trip to northern Balkh province, an official said on Sunday.
Police spokesman Sher Jan Durrani confirmed the incident happened as Zmarai Kamgar, owner of the airline, went hunting along with his family.
Suspecting some family issue, the official ruled out any political or terrorist link to the murder.
Civil Hospital Director Dr. Noor Mohammad Faiz confirmed receiving the body of Kamgar’s son Jamshed, 26, on Sunday morning. The young man breathed his last 15 minutes before being evacuated to hospital.
Jamshedd had suffered deep wounds in the neck, which might have been caused by Kalashnikov bullets or a bayonet, according to the doctor.
But a reliable source revealed the death of Kamgar’s son in Khelm district had resulted from a bullet he had fired from his speeding car. The ricocheting bullet killed the young man, he claimed.
