KABUL (Pajhwok): More than two dozen insurgents have been killed in clashes with the security forces, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) claimed on Friday.
At least 26 fighters were killed and 17 others wounded during security incidents in different parts of the country over the past 24 hours, the ministry said in a statement.
The clashes happened in Nangarhar, Kapisa, Paktia, Paktika, Khost, Logar, Ghazni, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Farah, Kunduz, Faryab, Balkh, Takhar and Helmand provinces.
