JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A tribal elder was killed and two others wounded as a result of roadside bomb blast in the Khogyani district of eastern Nangarhar province on Sunday morning, officials said.
Attullah Khogyani, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast targeted the tribal leader’s vehicle in Barar Ghach area of the district at 7:30am.
He said Sherin Agha was killed and his two colleagues Taj Mohammad and Lal Mohammad were wounded in the incident. The blast happened while the tribal leader was heading to Jalalabad city.
