LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): At least five people, including women, were killed and 42 others wounded in a suicide bombing in Lashkargah, the capital of southern Helmand province, on Wednesday.
Provincial police chief, Brig. Gen. Abdul Ghagfar Safi, told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place at around 11am. “Afghan soldiers receiving salaries form Kabul Bank were targeted by a suicide attacker.”
