SHARANA (Pajhwok): Security officials in southeastern Paktika province on Saturday denied the Taliban had overrun the Gomal district after a days-long battle.
Earlier, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid had told Pajhwok Afghan News the district was under their control after days of clashes.
