HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Nearly 30 people, including civilians and Taliban forces in western Herat province, an official said on Tuesday.
The governor’s spokesman, Jilani Farhad, said initial reports showed 13 civilians in nearby houses had also been killed and eight others injured in the airstrike in Bakhtabad area.
At least 16 Taliban, including two notorious commanders, were killed and four others injured in the bombardment, he added.
Jilani said a delegation from the governor’s office had been tasked to investigate the civilian casualties . . .
