CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Several shops were gutted in a fire incident in the Seyah Gard district of central Parwan province, an official said on Saturday.
The fire broke out in a gas selling shop on Friday afternoon and spread quickly to nearby shops containing wood, food, garment and oil, said Noor Aqa Sami, the district chief.
He said the fire took hours to be put out and the shop owners suffered hundreds of thousands of afghanis losses.
