KABUL (Pajhwok): A journalist, who was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kabul last night, was laid to rest on Monday, a relative said.
A close friend of the slain journalist, Shakir Tahiryan, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the journalist was killed last night after he had attended a party with friends in Arya Township.
He did not provide further details. The friend said Tahiryan had served for some time with Salam Watandar radio as a journalist.
Calls seeking comments from the area police went unanswered.
