KABUL Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC)
In line with a scholarship scheme of the Pakistan government, doctors and medical students from the neighbouring country were admitted to Baqai Medical University in the port city of Karachi.
However, the PM&DC is not registering the Afghan students, who have graduated from the university and around 150 others still enrolled there, the protestors alleged.
The Baqai Medical University has granted admissions to Afghan students above the permissible limit in violation of rules. Subsequently, the council has refused to register . . .
