JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Public Health Minister Ferozuddin Feroz on Monday arrived in the capital of eastern Nangarhar province after doctors and druggists went on strike against growing insecurity.
The minister, accompanied by the striking doctors, held talks with the provincial police chief and acting governor Brig. Gen. Abdul Rahman Rahimi.
Provincial public health director Dr. Najibullah Kamawal and provincial council secretary Zabihullah Zmari and member Dr. Nasir Kamawal were also present at the meeting.
