JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two children were killed and three others wounded after Pakistani forces fired more than three dozens of mortar shells into eastern Nangarhar province.
At least 37 mortars were fired from across the border into Spinajai, Sapo, Mastal Kandaw, Darosar and Babil villages of Nazyan district from 12pm till 6pm yesterday, the governor’s spokesman said.
Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News the shelling resulted in the killing of two children and injuries to three others.
