BAMYAN CITY (Pajhwok): The administrative chief for the Shaibar district of central Bamyan province claims Taliban's shadow governor freed from Pul-i-Charkhi prison is behind insecurity in the area.
Shaibar district chief Mohammad Azeem Farid, in an exclusive interview with Pajhwok Afghan News, said Maulvi Burhanuddin had been detained in 2009. But he was released from prison after five years.
Burhanuddin was captured on the battlefield with documents that proved his identity as Taliban governor for Bamyan . . .
