KABUL (Pajhwok): The Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) on Saturday said provincial councils elected their administrative boards for the fourth year in 31 provinces.
A statement from the IDLG said 31 provincial councils' heads, secretaries and deputies were elected for one year term.
The IDLG statement said significant and positive changes were noticed in this year’s board polls as about 37 percent women were elected.
