Man killed as blast rips through car in Mazar-i-Sharif

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A man was killed as a blast ripped through his car in the capital of northern Balkh province on Wednesday, police said

Balkh police spokesman Shabir Jan Durrani told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast occurred at about 3pm at the Balkh Darwaza area of Mazar-i-Sharif.

He said the blast hit a corolla car, but it was not immediately known whether it was a gas cylinder blast or a magnetic bomb,
