FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Deputy intelligence chief for Jawin district of western Farah province was killed by unidentified gunmen onTuesday, an official said.
Governor’s spokesman, Naser Mahri, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Haji Abdur Rahim, deputy National Directorate of Security (NDS) chief for Jawin district was killed by two armed motorcyclists in front of his house on Monday.
He said that attackers managed to flee. No one has so far detained in connection to the incident but investigation is underway, he added.
The attack claimed by Taliban militants. Four days back, a retired intelligence officer was also killed armed men in the capital of Farah province.
