Noor aide spurns CAA claims about flight delay

· 2 min read · 299 views

KABUL (Pajhwok): Officials in northern Balkh province on Saturday rejected the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) claims about cancelation of a Kandahar-Balkh flight.

Earlier, the CAA in two separate statements said a Kam Air flight from Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of Balkh, was scheduled to leave for southern Kandahar province.

But the flight had to be cancelled due to late arrival of Balkh officials at the airport in Mazar-i-Sharif and non availability of nighttime landing facilities at the airport in Kandahar.
