KABUL Food Program (WFP) will distribute 268 tons of food items to 1,500 displaced families in northern Samangan province and give in cash more than 65.8 million afghanis to around 10,000 economically-affected families in capital Kabul.
The money and aid will be distributed to families of displaced persons, returnees and others who suffered economic problems during the three months of this winter.
Each family will receive 2,285 afghanis each month through WFP's beneficiary identity and benefit management system “SCOPE” launched . . .
