JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Some nine insurgents have been killed and another four injured separately during special operations on the outskirts of Khogyani district in eastern Nangarhar province, officials said on Saturday.
The Nangarhar governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News special air forces conducted an airstrike on Taliban militants’ hideouts in Tatang area of the district.
He said four rebels were perished in the pounding and one of their key commanders detained.
