In a resolution, the European Parliament also commended New Delhi for using its soft power in rebuilding the war-torn Afghanistan over the past 16 years.
"The Republic of India is the largest regional donor to Afghanistan, providing some $3 billion in assistance since the Taliban government was ousted in 2001."
