KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Thursday vehemently denounced a deadly attack on a Shiite cultural centre in Kabul.
The Islamic State-claimed attack on the center, which also houses the Afghan Voice news agency, left 40 people dead and 30 others wounded.
In a statement from his office, President Ghani said: “The terrorist have killed our people. The terrorists have attacked our mosques, our holy places and now our cultural centre.”
Outraged by the killings, Ghani denounced the suicide assault as a crime against humanity, an attack on Islam and all human values.
