KABUL (Pajhwok): An eight-member robbery gang has been arrested in the capital of northern Kunduz province, police said on Friday.
Kunduz police chief Brig. Gen. Abdul Hamid Hamidi said in a statement the gang was detained on Thursday by police while acting on an intelligence report in Kunduz City.
He said the robbers were detained as a result of police efforts and people’s cooperation.
The police chief also said a remotely controlled landmine had been found and defused by police in Kunduz . . .
