Saudi Arabia strongly condemn Kabul terrorist attack

KABUL (Pajhwok):  SPA – The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has strongly condemned terrorist attack in capital Kabul which claimed innocent lives and left dozens injured.

Forty-one people including a journalist were killed in a suicide attack in the Pul-i-Sokhta neighbourhood of Kabul on Thursday morning, officials said.

Dozens of people, some media representatives and a number of civilians among them, were wounded in the assault on the Tebyan Centre, which also houses the Afghan Voice news agency.

According to SPA King Salaman has sent a cable of condolences and consolation to President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on the terrorist attack on a cultural center in Kabul, resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.

The King said: “we have received with great pain the news of the terrorist attack on a cultural center in Kabul resulted in deaths and injuries and we have condemned strongly this criminal and sinful act, and in my own name and on behalf of the people and Government of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we express you, the families of the victims and the brotherly people of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan our deepest condolences and sincere consolation, asking Allah Almighty the mercy for victims and speedy recovery for injured and protect your country and its brotherly people from evils, stressing of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's stance with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan against whoever targets its security and stability.”
