GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Six Taliban militants have been killed and five others wounded during an ongoing operation in Andar district and the capital of southern Ghazni province, an official said on Thursday.
Mohammad Arif Noori, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the Afghan and foreign forces had launched operation in Andar and on the outskirts of Ghazni City on Tuesday.
He said so far six insurgents were killed and five others, including, two notorious commander, injured. About 20 villages had also been purged from militants . . .
