Herat man arrested on charges of raping mother

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Police have arrested a young man on charges of raping her mother in western Heart province, an official said on Monday.

Abdul Ahad Walizadah, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the 24-year old was detained in the Nawabad area of the 13^th police district on Wednesday.

The detainee’s mother confirmed her son had raped on her. Security forces have started interrogating the accused.
