GARDEZ (Pajhwok): One civilian was killed and another wounded in a magnetic bomb blast in Gardez, the capital of southeastern Paktia province, on Saturday morning, an official said.
Abdullah Hasrat, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place on the limits of 2nd police district at around 10:30am this morning.
He confirmed the explosion was triggered by a magnetic bomb that left one individual killed and another wounded.
A well-placed source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok that the person killed was Samiullah, finance officer . . .
