MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Taliban militants have gunned down a 23-year-old man in the Sherin Tagab district of northern Faryab province over his alleged connection with the government, local officials said on Tuesday.
Khwaja Sirajuddin, the Sherin Tagab district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Qazi Qashlaq locality on Monday night.
The victim, Ghausuddin, owned a vegetable shop in the district bazaar and had no connection with the government.
